Mike Ziegler2022-01-10Murphy's is a truly special place... mostly, because it's the spot I chose as a surprise getaway after proposing to my (now) fiancee! Although I had never been here before, it was honestly the perfect setting for us to celebrate. Jessica and her partner were INCREDIBLY accommodating, even working to help me keep the secret so it was a genuine surprise. They also gave us the needed flexibility to pull the whole weekend off. Our cabin was such a romantic setting, and the pavilion by the river was the most ideal location to invite family and friends to celebrate with us. I sincerely appreciated how invested they were in making this a special weekend for us, and couldn't recommend a place more. I hope to be back, and encourage anyone else to stay here. Thanks!

The cottage was clean, cozy and so quiet.The scenic view from the balcony was breathtaking even in April, so I'm sure as all the trees and foliage bloom it will be even more beautiful. Setting up our stay through the website was simple, and when I spoke w Crystal she was very kind, helpful and professional. Make sure you read the entire website so you can experience all the amenities at Murphy's Place! Want a massage? Diane came to our cottage on Sunday morning and gave my husband and I hour long massages that were the best I've ever experienced. Highly recommended.
