4J Cattle Farm is owned and operated by Justin and Jessica Strong. Founded on the belief that “Mother Nature knows best,” 4J Cattle Farm works in harmony with nature to provide high-quality farm products while promoting responsible and sustainable farming practices.
Since 2013, we have dedicated ourselves to removing conventional methods of weed control, fertilization, and disease treatment from our operation. Over the years, we have continually refined our farming practices to create the quality products we proudly offer today.
We believe in honesty, integrity, and being good stewards of the land. Our promise is to continue pushing the envelope of environmentally friendly farming practices while providing products our customers can feel good about feeding their families.
4J Cattle Farm was founded in 2013 with the vision of raising premium grass-fed, corn-finished beef along with high-quality pasture-raised chicken. What began as a commitment to provide our family with clean, nutrient-rich food has grown into a passion for promoting regenerative farming practices and the benefits of responsibly raised products.
Guided by four generations of farming principles, we are proud to operate without conventional methods of weed control, fertilization, or routine treatment practices commonly used in modern agriculture. At 4J Cattle Farm, we truly believe that “Mother Nature Knows Best,” which is why we focus on raising hormone-free, medication-free, and herbicide-free meat products.
Our mission is simple — to provide high-quality products while being responsible stewards of the land for generations to come.
Our beef is different. Our beef is born and raised on the farm. We move our cattle regularly to new pastures to allow the land to heal and maximize the nutritional value of the grass when consumed by the cow.
We do things differently. We believe that Mother Nature knows best. Our environmentally friendly farming practices produce a high quality, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and herbicide-free finished product.
Our grass fed cows eat nothing but grass. Our corn fed option eats grass and a proprietary blend of corn and other grains to maximize marbling.
We use what mother nature gives us. First, we use rotational grazing practices to allow the cows to distribute manure and secondly, we use our hogs to break down our composting piles which are spread on the pastures.
