Gravel Bar Getaway is a spacious home great for big groups to gather together with a deck that has breathtaking views overlooking the most beautiful gravel bar on the Meramec River. Gravel Bar Getaway has space for 12 people to get together in the gorgeous Missouri Ozarks, yet there’s still plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find a little private time and peace.
A Grand Great Room
This is a split level home. You walk in to the upstairs where all of the bedrooms and large bathroom with a tile shower and double vanity. Upstairs is also where you will access the beautiful spacious deck where you can relax and see the river flowing by. As you go downstairs you enter the living room where there is a big sectional and a gorgeous stone fireplace. (fireplace is gas) the TV sits above the fireplace so you can relax with the warm fire and watch your favorite shows.
A Spacious, Open Kitchen
As you walk towards the kitchen there is a large dining table where everyone can gather for dinner. There is a large island that is in between the dining and kitchen area that allows for more seating. The kitchen is arranged in an efficient u-shape and is outfitted with lots of wood cabinets and quartz countertops. Premier appliances include an electric range, microwave oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator.
Four Serene Sleeping Spaces
Upstairs are the four bedrooms. The first bedroom is to your right, it has a view of the yard out to the front of the house. The second bedroom has a view of the trees and the gravel bar off the hill. The third bedroom has the view off the back deck where you can see the river and gravel bar as well. The forth bedroom has a queen bed and the queen/full bunk bed with a few of the front yard.
A Dreamy Deck With Magnificent Views
Chances are, you’ll find yourself drawn outside again and again to the fantastic covered porch overlooking the winding river below— it’s everyone’s favorite spot. In the mornings, this is the perfect place to bring your steaming mug of morning coffee as you watch the forest wake up around you. At sunset, pour a glass of wine and break out the binoculars to search the sky for the majestic eagles soaring overhead and nesting in the treetops. During the day, you’ll want to lace up your hiking shoes and explore the surrounding trails, or grab your rod and reel and catch that evening’s dinner in the river.

Cancellation Policy
Please understand that we are a small property, and cancellations effect us greatly. This is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation to receive a full refund minus a 10% processing fee.
In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than 30 days notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full (minus 10%) or partial refund will be made.
Deposit Policy
If your reservation is made earlier than 30 days prior to your arrival, 50% of your total payment is required to hold your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged to your credit card or checking account 30 days prior to your reservation. You should receive a courtesy reminder email 5 days before the final payment is taken.
If your reservation is made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required.
