Zahorsky Trail is just north of Steelville, MO with picturesque views during all seasons. This trail runs along the Meramec River and provides you with varying topography – ridges, ravines, bluffs, and bottomlands – within the 56 acres of woodland.
Missouri is well known for its caves and bluffs. Onondaga Cave State Park has guided tours through the underground caverns that you can explore.
Take a look at the beautiful, towering stalagmites, dripping stalactites, and active flowstones that helped turn this cave into a National Natural Landmark. If your ideal getaway does not entail cave exploration, they also have a beautiful panoramic view of the Meramec River.
